Yes. Personal data includes names, usernames, email addresses, IP addresses and website URLs. It also includes traffic statistics through the use of plugins and tools, such as google analytics. I also use 3rd party hosted services such as Jetpack and Bloglovin’. I also collect data that is unidentifiable, for example, browser information in order to view and analyse my blog statisics.

All metadata and comments are retained permenantely. If you subscribe to my website, any information that you provide is within your personal user profile. All users are able to see, edit or delete their own personal information at all times, except usernames.

Both of these are optional and only you are able to consent to these. THIRD PARTY PLUG-INS
I use WordPress “stats” to look at my blog traffic. This can also tell me where people are viewing my website from and also how they were referred to my website (Instagram or Twitter etc.) This website uses Google Analytics to collect information. For example, traffic statistics and visitor behaviour. You can opt out of this by using the Google Analystics Opt Out Browser add-on. Visitor comments are also checked through an automated spam detection service.
WEBSITE BACK-UP & SECURITY
I back-up my website on a weekly basis. This includes personal data and comments. This website is secured by SSL. This website is protected by an online firewall which prevents hacking attempts and security breaches. If there is a breach or security issue I’m emailed immediately by my security provider. If there is a breach I will assess the risk to your personal data and report any significant risks to the correct authorities if necessary.
