I hope you’re all doing well! Across my social media platforms I’ve been sharing resources in relation to the Black Lives Matter Movement, firstly to educate myself and secondly to spread awareness for an extremely important cause. It’s simply not enough to not be racist, your job is not done. Use this time to really make a difference. If you haven’t already, sign petitions, read about what is going on, use your platform (big or small) to speak out and share anything that could help others to appreciate why this is so important. Now is not the time to be silent.
In terms of what I’m doing about this, I’m going to share some of the incredible, powerful and educational art, graphics, quotes and resources that I have seen online over the last few weeks. I hope that some people will find it helpful to find all of these resources in one place, where you can read and reflect at any time. Lots of these posts aren’t just images, be sure to click on them and read the captions too. This is the loudest that the world has ever been about the Black Lives Matter Movement. Now isn’t the time to slow down, let’s keep up the pace and make sure that it inspires the change we want and need to see. Save this post, share it and share the content within it.
